3 ways to get more organic visibility for your business

by | May 8, 2018 | Analysis, Public Relations

In order for any business to run successfully, it needs to be front and center so that people will see it, recognize its branding, and make a purchase. But how, exactly, can you go about building up your audience and getting in front of more people in order to increase your profits?

There are several good strategies that you can try, and a few of them are reviewed here to help you get started.

Use social media

These days, just about everyone is on social media, and businesses are pretty much required to have a social media presence if they want to stay ahead of the competition and connect with more customers and potential new clients. So go ahead and set up a Facebook account, along with a Twitter and an Instagram account, so that you can connect with shoppers on various platforms.

Use your social media accounts to provide customer service, answering questions and concerns either privately or out in the open on public posts to prove that you care about your client base. Offer special deals to your followers to entice them to make a purchase, encourage them to join your email list so that you can continue marketing to them outside of social media, and host fun contests to increase engagement.

Attend trade shows

Attending trade shows is yet another way to get your business in front of more people who would be interested in what you have to offer. Be sure to book your booth in advance, and get a team together to represent your business for the duration of the trade show. If you can attend as the owner of your business, that would be great, but it isn’t mandatory, as you should be able to entrust your team with interacting with potential customers and teaching them about your products and services. Be sure to also encourage your team to gather as many email addresses as possible from attendees, as that will allow you to follow up and make a connection again after the event is over.

It’s all about location

When it comes to getting your business in front of more people, sometimes you need to take this task literally by moving into the ideal office or retail space that gets a lot of traffic. By using online resources like The Workplace Company, you could find a lot of different business spaces to rent in your area, but you could also work with a real estate agent if you need some extra assistance.

Choosing a building that is easy to get to, has ample parking, and is in a safe and desirable location will help promote your business by simply making it easier for people to stumble upon it while they are going about their daily lives in a busy part of town.

These are just a few of the many ways that you can successfully get your business in front of more people. Remember that a solid marketing plan will help you reach your goals sooner, so don’t neglect the importance of hiring a great PR agent and marketing manager who could lead your team. Once you get some momentum, you should find it easier to increase engagement and conversions.
