Zurich – 12 March 2026 – FGS Global today announced that Jean-Manuel Richier has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor, further strengthening its Equity Advisory (EA), Investor Relations (IR) and Transaction & Financial Communications (T&F) capabilities across Europe.

Jean-Manuel Richier
Jean-Manuel brings more than 35 years of senior leadership experience in global corporate and investment banking, advising boards and executive teams on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and complex cross-border transactions across Europe, the United States and Asia. He has held senior roles at HSBC, Blackstone, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and J.P. Morgan, working with some of the world’s leading corporates, financial sponsors and financial institutions.
Most recently, Jean-Manuel served as Co-Head of Global Banking and Head of Investment Banking for HSBC in Continental Europe, and prior to that as CEO of HSBC Bank plc in Switzerland.
At FGS Global, Jean-Manuel will advise clients on equity market positioning, investor engagement and strategic financial communications, with a particular focus on advancing the firm’s Equity Advisory and IR offering and leveraging his extensive banking and legal network in support of broader transactional and financial communications mandates.
Christine Graeff, Head of FGS Global’s Swiss operations and member of the Global Executive Committee, said:
“Jean-Manuel brings deep credibility in both Switzerland and France, combined with a truly global capital markets lens. He is a natural fit for our Equity Advisory platform and will significantly strengthen our ability to advise senior leaders on high-stakes financial and reputational decisions.”
Justin Shinebourne, Partner and Co-Head of the Equity Advisory practice at FGS Global, said:
“Jean-Manuel’s experience at the very top of global banking gives him a rare perspective on how boards, CEOs and investors think in moments of strategic change. His insights will be highly valuable to clients navigating capital markets engagement, transactions and investor scrutiny.”
Jean-Manuel Richier commented:
“I am delighted to join FGS Global at a time when financial markets, geopolitics and stakeholder expectations are increasingly interconnected. The firm’s integrated approach to strategy, capital markets and reputation makes it uniquely well positioned to support leaders in complex situations, and I look forward to contributing to the continued growth of its Equity Advisory and Investor Relations business.”
