PR Talent, one of the nation’s top communications recruitment firms, is adding Meredith Mirrington and Allison Chayo to deepen the agency’s recruiting capabilities in Washington DC, Denver, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. The new hires will leverage their extensive communications industry experience and network to source top talent for the firm’s agency and corporate clients.
“Former communications practitioners make outstanding recruiters. They not only intimately know the critical skillsets required but also understand other intangibles that make for great hires. And these comms pros bring with them a vast network of contacts that we leverage for our clients’ benefit,” said Jim Delulio, President of PR Talent. “Allison and Meredith fit that mold perfectly and will focus on building our presence in markets where they have spent considerable time professionally. We’re absolutely thrilled they’ve decided to join us and know our clients will be as well.”
For more than two decades, Ms. Mirrington has led high impact internal, external, and executive communications strategy for globally recognized, innovative, and respected companies in industries ranging from tech to tourism, including most recently at Amazon Web Services. She currently is an adjunct instructor at her undergraduate alma mater, the University of Colorado-Boulder, teaching in the College of Media, Communication, and Information corporate communications graduate program.
Ms. Chayo also has nearly two decades of PR agency and corporate experience. Prior to her VP role with Golin, she worked with Bollare Communications, LaForce, NARS Cosmetics, HL Group, and Kaplow Communications. Most recently she has built her own consulting practice focused on developing and executing strategic communications programs to reach diverse audiences for clients in the fashion, healthcare, real-estate, wellness, and travel industries.
“Having worked in-house and at a variety of agencies across the county, building teams and creating impactful results, it felt like a natural transition for me,” said Ms. Chayo. “I am excited to leverage my vast communications experience to drive clients’ business forward and help candidates elevate their career paths across the San Francisco and West Coast markets.”
“As a communications leader at industry-leading corporations, I’ve been directly involved in establishing and developing teams and understand the critical value that recruiters bring to an organization to help hire the best of the best talent,” added Ms. Mirrington. “In this next career chapter, I’m excited to bring my industry knowledge and experience to the table to support clients, candidates, and the pursuit of building bar raising communications teams.”
