UK, 4 June 2026 – Independent agency SomeBrightSpark (SBS) is accelerating its growth with two major leadership appointments. George Guildford joins as Partner and Executive Creative Director, tasked with driving the expansion of the agency’s creative production, film, and social-first offerings. Concurrently, Client Services Director Ellie Anderson has been elevated to Partner, marking a strategic shift for SBS toward a wider, collaborative, partner-led model.
Founded in 2008, SomeBrightSpark is making these moves as part of a broader ambition to continue building a more integrated model spanning campaigns, film, social content, live experiences and production. Their impressive client roster includes Caterpillar, Volkswagen Financial Services, Pfizer, Pinterest and Elavon, with the agency positioning itself around emotionally driven storytelling, integrated campaigns and creative-first production.
Guildford brings a wealth of experience to the role, joining from Moshi, where he led the agency’s creative team across campaigns spanning TV, social, documentaries, live events and influencer activations for brands including Audi, Mercedes-AMG and Volvo.
Prior to Moshi, George spent 14 years building and scaling a social-first creative agency, working with brands including Sony, Apple, John Lewis and Dior.
George said: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining SBS at such an important moment in its journey. What immediately stood out to me was the ambition, the culture and the type of work the agency genuinely wants to create. There’s a brilliant mix of creativity, production and storytelling already happening here, and I think there’s a huge opportunity to build something really special together over the next few years.”
Daniel Rogers, Managing Director of SomeBrightSpark, added: “George joining feels like a really important moment for SBS. We’ve built strong relationships, a great culture and a diverse mix of work over the years, but this feels like a real step forward creatively for the agency.
George brings an incredible mix of creative ambition, production expertise and energy, while Ellie becoming a partner represents the type of creatively driven, partner-led business we want SBS to continue building. Collaborative, ambitious and built around people who genuinely care about where the agency goes next.
Ellie joined SBS in 2012 as a producer after previously working at the BBC, and has since progressed to the role of Client Services Director.
Ellie Anderson said: “Moving towards a wider partner-led structure is a really important step for SBS. It’s about building an agency shaped by people who are deeply invested in the work, the culture and the future direction of the business. A big part of that is creating a stronger sense of ownership and accountability across every level of the agency, because that’s ultimately what builds trust, protects relationships and drives the quality of the work forward.”
Daniel finished: “We’ve always believed agencies outside London can compete creatively at the very highest level. Our ambition is simply to keep building work that proves it.”
