The agency was masterminded by Founder and Managing Director and experienced entrepreneur Jessica Gillingham. She originally set out to help raise the profile of transformative technology solutions operating within the short-term rental accommodation industry through specialist public relations.
Under her strong leadership and vision, the scope of Abode PR’s work branched into new sectors in the multifamily, hotel, and ‘living’ property ecosystems, and with Content Marketing subsequently added to the agency’s offering it now provides a more holistic reputation development service to clients.
Jessica Gillingham said “In 2017, the short-term rental industry was on a rapid growth trajectory that only accelerated as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. More specialist tech solutions began cropping up that fuelled this growth, some successful and others not, but all pointing towards the robustness of the industry. I saw an opportunity to become the first PR and content agency specifically targeting that sector, and we’ve remained the leaders in that space ever since.”
In the last eighteen months alone, the agency won retained and project work for major B2B travel and real estate industry players ALTIDO, BOOM, Buoy, Breezeway, Hostaway, Jetstream, PointCentral, Reside 3Sixty, Safely, Airsset, Uplisting, Washbnb and Xplorie. Showcasing Abode’s global reach, these clients are headquartered in the UK, Canada, US, Poland, Finland and Italy.
