London – 28 February 2024: Camarco, the financial and corporate communications consultancy owned by APCO, launched a technology sector team headed up by Senior Director Marc Cohen, supported by Associate Director Gabriel Hedengren.

Additionally, artificial intelligence and tech specialist Gordon Mackay joined APCO as a senior director in London.

Gabriel Hedengren
Cohen has 20 years of experience advising both public and private technology companies in his years at the PR Office (PRO), Kreab Gavin Anderson, FTI Consulting, Financial Dynamics and Bankside Consultants. Hedengren has 7 years of sector experience having worked with Cohen at PRO and before that at FINN Partners. Mackay brings over two decades of policy experience from both government and the private sector, garnered through various roles at international consultancies, in government and the United Nations.
Gordon Mackay
Cohen and Hedengren will focus on supporting deeptech and life sciences companies, as well as VCs, from early stage and scale up all the way through to IPO and beyond. Mackay will work at the intersection of tech policy, sustainability and multilateral organisations providing strategic multilateral policy advisory support to major tech industry firms.
