APCO Worldwide Appoints Arnaud Pochebonne to Lead Paris Office

Arnaud Pochebonne, an award-winning strategic consultant and communications expert, has been appointed managing director of APCO Worldwide’s Paris office, announced Brad Staples, CEO of APCO Worldwide.

“Arnaud brings a depth of knowledge and skill that truly embody what sets APCO apart,” said Staples. “His experience at the highest levels of the c-suite for public and private organizations have made him a long sought after partner, and we are thrilled to have him leading our France-based offices, as well as contributing to our robust global network.”

“Arnaud Pochebonne’s arrival opens a new chapter for our Paris office. In an increasingly digital market with audiences more and more fragmented, our customers are demanding higher levels of commitment and content,” said Claire Boussagol, chairman of APCO’s European region. “His mission will be to help them overcome the challenges ahead in an integrated way, based on four strategic pillars: high-level advice, flawless execution, creativity, and data. Arnaud Pochebonne has an excellent understanding of the market and I am convinced that he will quickly integrate into the culture of our group and work very closely with our other office leaders.”

Pochebonne joins APCO from Weber Shandwick France, where he served as the managing director and executive vice president of EMEA. During his more than 20 years of experience, Pochebonne led various communications campaigns for French and international organisations and corporations, winning several awards: Cannes Lions, Eurobest, TopCom, Agence de l’Année and, more recently, le Grand Prix Stratégies  de la communication d’entreprise et des collectivités territoriales 2018.

Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Pochebonne served as a senior consultant at Burson-Marsteller (Crisis and Public Affairs), where he worked during four years. From 1997 to 1999, he was junior consultant in the communication agency, Tilder Associates.

Pochebonne started his career at the Business Intelligence department of the Secrétariat Général de la Défense Nationale (SGDN), a Prime Minister Service. He holds a degree from the French business school ISG.
