“Original content is king and the demand for quality, branded content is increasing. By expanding our in-house creative capabilities, we’re filling a need for our clients to add value to key audiences through content that reflects their personality and builds trust,” said Megan Baker, agency founder, president and CEO. “During Barry’s two-year tenure with the agency, he has exhibited tremendous pride in his work and ambition to lead the creative services team. This position will give him the opportunity to execute new creative ideas and projects on behalf of our clients.”

Wygel joined Baker Public Relations in October 2018 and has spearheaded digital initiatives and successful creative campaigns through a sustained period of double-digit agency growth. His responsibilities as manager, creative services include directing all creative output for clients from the early concept stages through to production, managing a team of creative professionals, creating earned, owned and social concepts and ideas, and providing quality control on all agency-wide initiatives.

“I’m grateful to work with creative, professional and innovative people at the agency who care greatly about the success of the brands we work with and the quality of our work,” said Wygel. “The investment in creative services is going to further elevate the agency as a steadily growing market leader in driving innovative campaigns for partners we respect.”

Baker Public Relations Creative Services Studio, located at 350 Northern Blvd., Albany, N.Y., is expected to be completed before the end of 2020 and will include video production and podcast suites, professional offices and storage. Baker Public Relations has made substantial investments in personnel and equipment this year to grow the creative services team. This included the hiring of Marketing Specialist Andrea Leo in March and the purchasing of new editing software and lighting and sound technology, along with the build-out of the new Creative Services Studio. Additionally, the creative services team is overseeing the design of a new website, which will be completed by early January 2021.
