Baker Public Relations Selected as 2022 Best Places to Work by Albany Business Review

by | Nov 9, 2022

Coming on the heels of its 15th anniversary celebration in September, Baker Public Relations announced it has been selected by the Albany Business Review as a 2022 Best Places to Work.

“Baker Public Relations would not be the successful and growing firm it is today without our incredible employees,” said founder, president and CEO Megan Baker. “Investing our company’s resources back into the team’s growth and wellness is not only the right thing to do, but based on our success has also proven to be a very effective business move.”

A full-service communications firm with a diverse client base throughout the Capital Region, Pittsburgh and across the country, Baker Public Relations provides its employees with a wide range of support services and professional development opportunities. Employees are encouraged and incentivized to take part in all aspects of the business, from client work to new business development. They are allotted paid time off for mental health days, participate in in-house Meditation Mondays, enjoy Summer Fridays and are regularly recognized for their work, their collaboration and giving back to the community.

Combining this support with a competitive compensation and benefits plan and strategic investment in the team’s creative abilities, Baker Public Relations has been able to log its most successful years of business in each consecutive year since 2019.

“We’re a shining example that employees who are supported and encouraged in a collaborative workplace will thrive in their careers,” added Baker. “I am thrilled to accept the ‘Best Places to Work’ award on behalf of our talented team and cannot wait to see what they do next on behalf of our clients and our community.”

The Best Places to Work award recognizes local businesses who have fostered exceptional environments for their employees. In order to be selected as a winner, a significant number of employees must highly rate their workplace in an Albany Business Review survey. Companies from different industries comprise the list, but all share one commonality: building a work community where employees feel engaged, energized and valued.

Winners of the award will be honored at the Annual Best Places to Work event on December 9. To learn more about Baker Public Relations, visit the firm’s website.
