Bospar announces charity in initiatives for Breast Cancer and Boy Scouts

by | Mar 22, 2021

Star Trek’s George Takei helped with one of Bospar’s charity efforts #DrinkLessForYourBreasts. This is the first of its kind campaign to educate California women about the connection between alcohol and breast cancer. So far, the firm has secured 17 broadcast placements and are set to have features publish in Healthline and Univision. Takei thought the research was so important that he even shared it with his 3.2 million followers.

Meanwhile the firm announced another charity effort: it has been promoting the first young women to become Eagle Scouts in the Boy Scouts. After a merit-badge-worthy media training course with Troop 1015 in San Anselmo, California, they placed ten stories of these young trailblazers in ABC 7, CBS 5, and the Marin Independent Journal. Look to see other stories run in the Pacific Sun Newspaper, The Ark, and a few other outlets in the weeks to come.

“At Bospar, we believe that PR can not only address the biggest business problems of our day, but also the big picture issues too,” said Curtis Sparrer, Principal at Bospar.” What’s exciting and rewarding is when we can bring these two elements together. Furthermore, as a former journalist, I always was more willing to listen to PR people who weren’t just doing things for paying clients, but also promoting and celebrating people who are making a difference in the community and the world at large.”
