Business Finland retains Zapwater Communications for “Happiness From Finland” initiative

Business Finland announced that it has retained Zapwater Communications for public relations representation in the U.S. for an initiative to increase awareness of Finnish project partners including consumer, design, tourism and travel brands. Zapwater Communications will lead the destination’s “Happiness From Finland” project and represent a range of Finnish consumer brands and regional tourism boards through joint activities including media relations, virtual events, influencer marketing, and strategic partnerships.

Zapwater Communications is the agency of record for Visit Finland in the U.S. and manages integrated communications and marketing efforts on the behalf of the destination. This separate initiative will allow the firm to further enhance awareness and education among target audiences of Finnish consumer brands, experiences, services, accommodations, and activities.

“Finland continues to be one of the hottest international destinations,” explained Zapwater’s founder and CEO David Zapata. “Furthermore, Finland represents many of the core values and attributes of what consumers are looking for today – sustainability, wellness, and happiness to name a few. We are honored to expand our work with Finland to increase visibility of its project partners. among U.S. audiences.”

The account will be managed by Zapwater’s Chicago office.
