French/West/Vaughan (FWV), a Raleigh-based independent public relations, advertising and digital marketing agencies, today announced it has been selected by the Certified Angus Beef brand to lead its national consumer media efforts surrounding its 40th anniversary barn painting initiative. The initiative celebrates the brand’s heritage as the first brand of beef and the only brand owned by the farming and ranching families of the American Angus Association.
FWV will provide strategic counsel and execution of public relations initiatives for the Certified Angus Beef brand’s 40th anniversary celebration, focusing on the farming families and partners committed to providing consumers with the best Angus beef.
Since 1978, the Certified Angus Beef brand has been dedicated to the mission of producing beef with exceptional taste and tenderness, while supporting the sustainability of family farms and ranches. Four decades ago, a group of ranchers, along with Dr. Bob VanStavern, a renowned meat scientist from The Ohio State University, developed exacting quality standards that remain a vital part of the brand. Today, the Certified Angus Beef brand is recognized as a leader in the industry and its logo, recognized by 95 percent of consumers, serves as a stamp of exceptional beef quality.
“Our commitment to uncompromising quality remains the same as it was in 1978—to deliver the most flavorful, tender and juicy beef on the market, from family ranches to family tables around the globe,” said Tracey Erickson, Vice President of Marketing for Certified Angus Beef LLC. “Our partnership with FWV will help us share and celebrate the stories of the hard-working, quality minded ranchers and brand partners who take pride in maintaining our exceptionally high standards.”
“It is refreshing to find a brand that is so steadfast in its commitment to excellence,” said Rick French, FWV Chairman & CEO. “We are extremely proud that the Certified Angus Beef brand selected us help share the stories behind 40 years of success and the ranching families who continue to make it possible.”
