Christine Dougherty to Head Mower’s Buffalo Office

One of the largest independent marketing, advertising and public relations agency has tapped Christine Dougherty to lead its Buffalo office.

A graduate of Medaille College, Dougherty joined Mower in 1999 as a production assistant and has served as a senior account manager, management supervisor; account director; vice president, account director and now as senior vice president – managing director.

Dougherty, who leads Mower’s New Moms Specialty as well as Mower’s Shopper Marketing practice, has provided account supervision, strategic guidance and creative development for clients such Rich Products, Pumpkin Masters, Breyers Ice Cream Toppings, Pentair, Mattel, Fisher-Price, Elf on the Shelf, Gerber Childrenswear, Pacify, Transitions Optical, as well as Galbani and President Cheese.

As head of Mower’s Buffalo office, Dougherty will be responsible for driving regional growth, managing the operation of the Buffalo office and its collaboration with the agency’s other 8 offices, optimizing the team’s performance to drive profitability and client retention.

Dougherty is Mower’s third female office head and member of the agency leadership team, which has 6 women including Mower’s Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer.
