The UK’s leading corporate caterer, City Pantry, has picked Words + Pixels to lead UK B2B and corporate communications.
The agency’s brief is to raise the profile of the business and brand as it pivots its offering to include home deliveries in response to the Coronavirus pandemic, which forced most restaurants and offices to close.
In April, City Pantry launched Pantry Packages, enabling its customers to continue delivering food, drinks and gifts to their employees, wherever they are.
The business is now looking to increase awareness of its offering as people around the UK look set to split working hours between their offices and their homes. City Pantry also wants to increase awareness of its support for the hospitality sector during a particularly challenging time for the industry.
City Pantry was set up in 2014 to connect corporate customers to the best local restaurants and caterers and enable them to provide their employees with delicious food, drinks, and snacks.
Nick Braund, who founded the agency at the start of 2020, said: “We’re incredibly excited to start working with City Pantry at such a crucial time for the hospitality industry. The City Pantry team has been incredibly innovative in the way they have pivoted their business to adapt to the changing needs of employers and employees across the UK, and we can’t wait to start promoting the brand as it continues to grow and adapt.”
Shane Mansfield, Marketing Director at City Pantry said: “We really needed a team that can be flexible and quickly make an impact as we continue to diversify our offering, grow our business and support the hospitality industry. Words + Pixels impressed us with their understanding of our business, brand and PR requirements at a challenging time for the hospitality industry. We’re excited to working together as the industry returns to growth.”
Words + Pixels launched at the beginning of 2020 with the aim of supporting and growing disruptive startup and scaleup businesses.
