Closerstill Media Taps Coyne PR for Veterinary Show Support

by | Dec 8, 2021

Coyne Public Relations (Coyne PR) announced it has been selected by CloserStill Media to provide public relations support for the organization’s four major veterinary shows in the U.S. After the pandemic pre-empted the company’s US Vet Shows in 2020 and members of the veterinary community became essential workers, CloserStill Media launched Vet Show @ Home, a series of virtual conferences, and Vet Show Academy, an online portal that enabled vets, techs, nurses, and practice managers to earn the continuing education (CE) credits they need to continue their education. With restrictions lifting and the continued growth of pet adoptions – recent studies report pet ownership in the U.S. increased to 70% of households in 2020 – the need for vets and veterinary services are all the more in demand today and CloserStill Media is proud to announce its four US Vet tradeshows are back in-person in 2021 and 2022, including Wild West Vet, New York Vet, Austin Vet and Chicago Vet.

To meet this demand, CloserStill Media and Coyne PR are working together to drive attendance from the veterinary community and promote the opportunity these shows represent for veterinary professionals to come together to collaborate, hear from renowned industry experts and access the latest information and best practices to bring back to their patients across the country.

“We are excited to be partnering with Coyne PR in support of our roster of US Vet Shows,” said Emily DeMarco, Marketing and Content Director at CloserStill Media, a leading global exhibition organizer and owner of US Vet. “I had the pleasure of working with Coyne on a number of other trade shows over the years and that experience made it an easy decision to bring them on board for this project. Their approach to developing a strategic communications plan along with their creative vision will go a long way with helping us elevate overall awareness for and participation in our portfolio of shows during the year.”

By offering vets practical and relevant training with clinical programs for small and large animal medicine, providing a space to network and meet other industry professionals, learn about innovative products from top industry suppliers, and travel to exciting cities, CloserStill Media’s veterinary shows empower veterinary professionals to continue their education in a meaningful way. These events also provide a platform for the vets to speak out about unique topics and share their stories with their peers and industry leaders.

“In addition to having a strong background in supporting major trade shows, Coyne PR has a strong pet practice and understands the vital role veterinarians and their staff play in the health and well-being of our pets and farm animals,” said Brian Murphy, Senior Vice President, Coyne PR. “Ongoing education and best practice sharing is vital for the continued development and success of any profession and we are proud to be supporting and promoting these four important veterinarian shows across the U.S. We look forward to helping make them a success so our four-legged friends across the country can benefit from the knowledge and insight attendees will acquire.”
