Creative Communications Agency Bacchus Extends its Global Expansion with the Opening of Miami Office

by | Oct 12, 2022

Bacchus, the leading luxury brand development and creative communications agency, expands its international footprint further with the launch of its Miami office.
With headquarters in London, New York and Dubai, the agency’s international client roster continues to grow and diversify – now covering industry-leading brands across wellness, beauty, design, travel, fashion, hospitality, food and beverage.

This latest outpost in the US follows the success of the agency’s award-winning New York office, and has been driven by the growing client demand seeking a local agency partner to service the Florida market and beyond. Wellness, hospitality and property will be the core sectors of focus. Current clients include the iconic SLS South Beach Hotel and Hyde Beach Club, Habitas – the global pioneering sustainable-led hospitality group, and Motorcar Cavalcade Miami taking place at the legendary JW Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa in January (2023).

Senior figures in the Bacchus Miami office include Erika Koopman, who leads business development and formerly set up Harrison & Shiftman in Miami, Kristina Schreck – seasoned media expert and a specialist in LatAm press, and Caitlin Driscoll, Head of Partnerships & Influencer who was formerly the Director of Communications at Faena Hotel Miami Beach. The Miami team collaborates with its New York counterpart, led by Cara Chapman and agency Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Charlotte Lurot, who has relocated to New York to oversee the US business.

Established in 1998, Bacchus has consistently achieved significant year-on-year growth, and successfully expanded into a range of new sectors and services. Founded by Anouschka Menzies and Charlotte Lurot, and stewarded by CEO Daize Washbourn, the agency specializes in brand strategy, development, brand imaging and identity, creative, global and regional campaigns, content creation, communications and marketing, creative production, digital marketing, strategic partnerships and influencer relations.

Bacchus clients across London, New York, the GCC and now Miami include Diageo (Ketel One Vodka), NoMad London, Cipriani, Habitas, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts; Ennismore, Four Seasons Anguilla, The Victoria & Albert Museum, Design Shanghai, Chelsea Barracks, Aesop, Arise Fashion Week, and THE WELL.

Anouschka Menzies, Bacchus Co-Founder & Chief Development Officer, comments, “A Miami office is a natural progression for Bacchus. The success of our New York office has resulted in a requirement of local Miami practitioners. From Miami we run local and LATAM media and influencer services and advise European clients launching in the city, such as the recent opening of Sexy Fish from London.

Charlotte Lurot, Bacchus Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer, comments, “We are excited to expand our US operations to this vibrant city. Miami’s business, cultural and social scenes offer a unique opportunity to many of our existing clients, and we look forward to bringing our global production expertise to the many and varied globally recognized events in this.”
