Dovetail Solutions, a fully integrated national PR, marketing, advertising and public affairs firm with offices in Denver and Sacramento, has welcomed Client Service Directors Alexandra Griesmer and Megan Desideri. Thomas Waggett has also joined the firm to support dovetail’s public affairs team.
Griesmer and Desideri will drive big-picture strategy, planning and program execution on behalf of dovetail solutions’ clients.
Griesmer brings more than 15 years of experience in public relations, marketing, community relations, promotional strategy and execution, event management, media buying and social media strategy. After graduating from Marquette University with degrees in Journalism and German, Griesmer worked for Allied Integrated Marketing as a senior publicist managing media relations, publicity stunts and grassroots promotions for movie studios including Paramount, 20th Century Fox, Fox Searchlight and more. She then transitioned to the role of public relations and promotions manager at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts managing media relations and promotional strategy for the Denver Center Theatre Company. Most recently, Griesmer was the director of marketing for Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, launching two successful grand openings and leading the marketing, branding, media relations, public relations, social media and events strategy, and media buying for all three Denver-area theaters.
Desideri also has more than 15 years of marketing, advertising and communications experience. Her experience includes driving marketing initiatives at Pulte Homes as well as leading branding, advertising, creative, content development, event production and social media management for nine luxury automotive brands in northern California. Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Desideri graduated with honors from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.
Waggett joins dovetail solutions as a public affairs team member bringing experience as an intern with House Majority Leader Alec Garnett. In this role Waggett developed a keen understanding of the operations of the State Legislature. He supported the 2020 Special Session through constituent engagement, public policy research, social media engagement and exposure to committee hearings. Waggett is currently a Junior at the University of Colorado, Boulder, majoring in both Political Science and History. He has an avid passion for public affairs and holds a strong belief that the best way forward is a partnership between government and business.
