Emily Porro Poised for Purpose as Co-Leader of The Bliss Group’s Growing Impact Practice

Experienced communicator joins Bliss as SVP to drive growth and innovation for Bliss Impact

February 06, 2024: NEW YORK & AUSTIN, Texas–Insights-driven marketing communications agency The Bliss Group announced the appointment of Emily Porro as Senior Vice President and co-leader of the firm’s Impact practice to help more clients unlock their power for positive impact. Alongside co-leader Megan Tuck, Emily will provide counsel informed by more than two decades of experience to organizations seeking to align strategic priorities and sustainable programs with societal change.

She has represented companies at every stage of the corporate lifecycle, from entrepreneurial startups to iconic global brands, providing counsel and guidance designed to build thought leadership and share-of-voice. Over the course of her career as a senior executive at communications firms and the owner of her own agency, Emily has demonstrated the same commitment to purpose that Bliss brings to clients.

In addition to her day-to-day communications work, Emily serves as a mentor to emerging climate technology startups through the NASDAQ entrepreneur center’s Mentor Makers, a mentor matching platform that ignites the exchange of experience from business leaders in support of entrepreneurs. She is also on the advisory board of The Company of Dads, a network for fathers who are balancing domestic and professional responsibilities and goals. Further, Emily is a recognized thought leader in public relations, with work frequently published in esteemed publications such as Forbes and PRNEWS.
