ENroute Communications announced that it has signed Guillermo Gonzalez to lead its efforts to expand its Latin America portfolio. Gonzalez has over 20 years of experience in the tourism field and was most recently General Director of the San Miguel de Allende Tourism Board.
Gonzalez has spearheaded one of Mexico’s most successful tourism and travel campaigns at the international level positioning the city of San Miguel de Allende at the front of travel and tourism media and the trade for the past 4 years. He will work with ENroute’s international team of PR and Marketing executives to develop and execute proactive campaigns for the agency’s travel accounts. He will also be working on trade relations for the company’s clients.
At ENroute Communications, Gonzalez will be focusing on increasing the agency’s portfolio of clients in Latin America and will be strategically based out of the company’s Mexico office where the agency is looking to grow.

ENroute Communications is headed by Carlos Lopez, a Mexico native who founded the agency six years ago. Under his leadership as agency president, ENroute was named Newcomer Agency of the Year at the public relations-focused North American Excellence Awards.
