The Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) will host its monthly luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Dave and Buster’s, 13499 S. Cleveland Ave., Ste. 400, Fort Myers, FL, 33907 (inside Bell Tower Shops).
Join FPRA of SWFL for the first professional development seminar of the new chapter year. The September luncheon will feature the President of FPRA, Devon Chestnut, APR, CPRC and a panel of chapter members who attended the 82nd FPRA state conference in August. Panelists will include conference scholarship recipients and members of the chapter leadership team who will share conference highlights and key takeaways from top industry leaders nationwide.
In addition to her role as FPRA president, Chestnut is the communications manager for Cox Communications, the largest private telecom company in America, providing advanced digital video, internet, telephone and home security and automation services to six million homes and businesses across 18 states. Her position includes managing Cox’s Southeast Region internal communications for 1,900 employees in Florida, Georgia and Louisiana. She also plays a pivotal role in several national company projects and initiatives.
