GCI Health Hires Kirsten Whipple and Cindy Romano as Executive Vice President

GCI Health announced the hiring of Kirsten Whipple as Executive Vice President, Wellness and Nutrition. Kirsten will oversee the continued growth of the agency’s wellness and nutrition offering, which includes brand-driven programming that elevates her clients as leaders in the space. Kirsten brings more than 25 years of consumer activation and engagement expertise in the healthcare industry to GCI Health.

Kirsten was previously Senior Vice President & Partner and Health & Wellness Practice Lead at FleishmanHillard in Chicago where, over the course of eight years, she built a diverse base of prominent consumer health clients, which included Abbott’s Nutrition division, Walgreen’s and Beech-Nut Nutrition, implementing meaningful award-winning programs that inspire people to live healthier lives.

Cindy Romano has also joined GCI Health as a Senior Vice President, bringing more than 20 years of biopharma/medical device and diagnostics experience in agency and corporate settings. Cindy will focus on overseeing some of GCI Health’s extensive work in oncology.

Over the course of her career, Cindy has led several award-winning campaigns across a mix of science-focused clients, and she has a strong reputation as a highly effective strategic counselor to senior management and for positioning companies as leaders in their industries. Cindy was previously a Senior Vice President at dna Communications.
