by | Jan 23, 2019

Havas PR announced the promotions of Brian Ackermann, Michael Battisti and Kariann Mano to the position of account executive.

Ackermann joined the team in 2016 and quickly earned leadership roles in Transitions Optical’s social media team and award-winning influencer relations program. He also supports the sunwear team and has contributed to year-over-year media growth for Transitions Optical’s managed vision care program. Beyond Transitions Optical, Ackermann was instrumental in winning the Sightbox account and now helps to manage ongoing efforts. He is also active in PRSA Pittsburgh as the Young Professionals Co-Chair.

Battisti joined Havas PR in 2016 and supports both the Transitions Optical and PPG Trivex accounts. His exemplary writing skills, project management and keen attention to detail allow him to shine while juggling multiple projects and programs—including Transitions Optical’s global education and Canada programs. For the past two years, he has been integral in developing curriculum content for Transitions Academy. He is also involved with PRSA Pittsburgh and has been vital in onboarding Havas PR’s interns as the program coordinator.

Whether it’s for the Gout & Uric Acid Education Society, LivaNova or IPEMA, Mano is always focused on delivering quality work. After joining the team in 2016, she has become an indispensable member of the team—playing a vital role in social media and e-newsletter content development, trade show support and managing correspondence with the Board of Directors, International Advisory Council and pharmaceutical sponsors. She is also active in the PRSA Pittsburgh chapter—serving as Young Professionals Co-Chair.

“Brian, Michael and Kariann all demonstrate excellent leadership skills, and possess the rigor required to meet the objectives of each of their clients’ needs,” said Katie McSorley, president, Mid-Atlantic, Havas PR. “Their dedication to their clients and their community does not go unnoticed at the agency. We are fortunate to have them on our team.”
