Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), an international public relations agency, has appointed two experienced Managing Directors (MD), Miriam Holbe and André Wigger, to the German office’s highest management body, effective from August 1.

“I am delighted that Miriam and André, two of H+K’s key senior consultants, can be integrated even more centrally into the long-term strategic development of our agency,” said Rüdiger Maeßen, H+K Germany CEO. “Both are cornerstones of our business and place creativity and innovation at the center of their functions for the further development of the agency.”

Holbe has successfully led the Brand & Marketing Practice for eight years, with a continuously growing client portfolio in the Travel + Tourism, Food + Drink and Consumer Packed Goods sectors. Before joining H+K she worked for various international network agencies such as Fleishman-Hillard, Ketchum, and Burson Marsteller in Germany and abroad.

As MD, Wigger is responsible for the Change & Employee Engagement consulting area and heads up the agency’s business development. Wigger joined H+K in 2016, previously holding management positions at Deekeling Arndt Advisors, and Burson-Marsteller. Last month he took over the management of H+K’s creative unit, The Studio, in Germany.

“The addition of Miriam and André to the German management team reflects the continued development of our German business and underlines our position as a leading public relations agency in Germany,” says Lars Erik Grønntun, H+K Global President. “With Miriam and André, we are incorporating two esteemed Senior Advisors into our agency management in order to be able to serve our clients even better.”

The German management team consists of Holbe, Wigger, Maeßen, CEO, Catherine Dächert-Tessier, CFO, Udo Becker, Head of Corporate Reputation Practice, and Thomas Wimmer, Head of Corporate & Public Affairs Practice.
