Hill+Knowlton Appoints Tessa Horehled as U.S. Director of Content + Publishing Strategy

Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K) has appointed Tessa Horehled as Director of Content + Publishing Strategy for the US. Horehled will be based in New York.

“My career has always been focused on helping companies understand how to harness the evolving digital landscape, and I am excited to bring that experience to a creative agency that understands the immense power of the consumer and the constant innovation required to maintain relevance, preference and awareness,” said Horehled. “This role allows me to share what I’ve learned in content and digital with some of the most exciting brands in the world.”

Horehled brings eighteen years of hands-on strategy and content creation experience across digital and social, including a decade of global executive-level leadership and broader management experience. She was most recently with AKQA in Germany as their Planning Director and Berlin Strategy Lead and has previously served as an IBM Cognitive Commerce Futurist (2015 – 2018) offering thought leadership on the future of commerce from e-commerce to brick & mortar.

Horehled ran an award-winning culture and entertainment blog for 11 years and has served as an influencer herself for many consumer brands. She studied Computer Science at Georgia State University, holds an Executive Certificate in Data-Driven Marketing from Cornell University, and is expanding her education with courses in Python and German.
