Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), international public relations agency, has appointed Chip Scarinzi as Senior Vice President, Technology in the U.S.
“Hill+Knowlton Strategies is dedicated to helping clients meet the evolving demands of their business, all while providing a platform for its people to push creative boundaries, and I’m honored to be a part of it,” said Scarinzi, who is based in San Francisco.
Scarinzi comes to H+K from Ketchum, where, as Senior Vice President, he played a pivotal role in building the company’s tech presence in the Bay Area and across the network. Throughout his career, he has focused on the intersection of tech and industries, including sports, automotive, and home, including bringing Kohler’s smart home story to CES and leading U.S. communications efforts on behalf of TomTom. This new post represents a homecoming, as Scarinzi began his career in the New York office of H+K as an account coordinator.
Richard Millar, Global President, said “The US continues to be a huge market for technology innovation, and Chip knows how to market our clients’ products. He has an 18-year track record of helping tech and consumer brands tell better stories, and his passion for storytelling is ideal for driving H+K’s growth strategy. It’s an exciting time for Chip to join our team.”
Scarinzi’s appoint adds to H+K’s growing Technology practice in the US. In October 2019, H+K brought on John Derryberry as Executive Vice President overseeing the firm’s Technology practice.
Scarinzi has also authored Diehards, a work of non-fiction on the causes and impacts of sports fandom.
