Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), international public relations agency, has appointed John Gillooly as Senior Vice President of Data + Analytics to lead on measurement and analytics across all sectors.
“Data + Analytics has become essential to delivering clients insight-driven communications,” says Gillooly. “It is not only about measuring success but using the results to create innovative solutions and develop informed client strategies. I’m excited to join H+K and help to build on our experience and success.”
Gillooly comes to H+K with more than 10 years of experience in modelling, analysing and visualizing data sets, building them into products that directly help client initiatives. Most recently, Gillooly served as Managing Director of Global Analytics at Athena Global Advisors, where he built a real-time alerting system that established influence in local markets. In his position at H+K, he brings experience coaching and developing teams and aligning analytics from leadership roles at Voce Communications and MSLGROUP.
“Measurement and analytics are core drivers of our strategic thinking, and John’s wealth of data experience and his passion for technology will bring fresh thinking to this function, further fuelling our growth in the U.S.,” said Richard Millar, H+K Global President.
Within his new role, Gillooly joins H+K’s New York-based Innovation + Creative Hub; a team of specialists that drive this agenda across the region by working concurrently alongside client leads.
The addition of Gillooly adds to recent talent and leadership appointments to support the agency’s global growth strategy. Other recent U.S. leadership announcements include Avra Lorrimer as EVP, H+K New York, John Derryberry to lead the U.S. Technology sector and Chris Baszto to lead Digital Planning + Optimization.
