Idea Hall, an award-winning creative communications agency that specializes in holistic marketing-communications programs, announced the addition of business development expert, Sven Johnston to its executive leadership team as vice president. Johnston’s addition builds upon the agency’s marked growth throughout 2020 despite the social and economic disruptions due to the pandemic. A highly visible and prominent Orange County connector, Johnston brings over two decades of experience growing regional, national and global companies and will help expand Idea Hall’s presence in Southern California and beyond.
As Vice President of Business Development, Johnston will be instrumental in cultivating new and existing clients across the firm’s key practice studios: real estate, healthcare, business services, nonprofit, consumer products, hospitality/travel/leisure, education and public agencies. Internally, Johnston will work alongside the marketing and operations teams to help shape the agency’s regional and national growth strategy.

Throughout his career, Johnston has led growth initiatives for a variety of organizations spanning marketing and advertising startups, national food delivery companies and management consulting firms. Prior to Idea Hall, he was a founding partner and vice president of business development at Gigasavvy, a marketing firm that evolved from a four-person startup to a 30-person company with a roster of national clients under his leadership.
