InkHouse, an integrated public relations agency, announced the expansion of its healthcare team with Brendan Monahan, an accomplished public relations executive with a decade of experience leading successful strategic communications campaigns on behalf of regional and national healthcare organizations including a leading cancer center, health insurance providers, multi-hospital health systems, and skilled nursing facilities.
In his new role, Monahan will serve as the strategic practice lead for clients in a variety of market segments including health IT developers, hospital systems, insurers, medical device manufacturers and innovative life science organizations. Earlier this year, InkHouse announced its expanding healthcare practice with new client partnerships including connectRN, an app for nurses to find per diem work; Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, a leading not-for-profit health services company serving New England; and Maven Clinic, a women and family healthcare company.
“It’s important that our healthcare practice is led by someone who understands the nuances of this highly regulated industry and is experienced in telling stories that reach all audiences—from patients to consumer advocates to clinicians and hospital decision-makers—to increase brand awareness, navigate a complex crisis or launch a life-saving technology,” said Beth Monaghan, chief executive officer and co-founder of InkHouse. “Brendan’s comprehensive knowledge of the vast healthcare landscape will bring significant value to our clients and team members.”
“The opportunity to lead the healthcare practice at InkHouse is so genuinely exciting to me because InkHouse has an exceptional reputation for providing high-quality public relations services in a fully integrated and strategic setting,” said Monahan. “With an impressive roster of healthcare clients and an even more impressive team of media and marketing professionals across the country, I can’t wait to begin helping current and future InkHouse clients positively impact the world through unique and meaningful storytelling.”
InkHouse, one of the fastest-growing agencies in the country, is more than a decade old with 125 employees located in its Boston, San Francisco and New York offices.
