Durée Ross, president and founder of Fort Lauderdale-based full-service public relations, marketing and special events firm Durée & Company, Inc., announced that Jenna Reed has been promoted to vice president of operations of the organization.
Reed joined the firm in January 2018 as director of operations. As vice president of operations, she manages and coordinates support services of the office, including operations, human resources, recordkeeping and more; and works on special events, social media and marketing projects for the firm.
Reed brings a wide range of experience in development management, events and communications, and administration to her position. Prior to joining Durée & Company, she was the development and family support manager for Cure SMA in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She also worked as the events and communications manager for Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer in Davie, Florida.
Prior to that time, she was the development director for the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation in Boca Raton, Florida. Earlier, she worked as a receptionist/administrative assistant at McGraw-Hill Financial in New York City, New York. She began her career as a community affairs/special events intern with the City of Boca Raton Recreation Services.
In 2016, South Florida Business & Wealth magazine named Reed as a Social Media Up & Comer, Nonprofit category. She holds a bachelor of science in event management and a minor in communications from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
