Leading global strategic communications advisory firm Finsbury Glover Hering (FGH) announced that Jill Lesser has joined the firm as a partner in the Washington office. Lesser brings extensive policy communications and corporate brand strategy experience to FGH.
“This is the best kind of homecoming, as Jill was with us at The Glover Park Group over a decade ago,” said FGH North America co-CEO Joel Johnson. “We’re excited to welcome her back, and for her to bring to our clients her wise counsel, keen sense of strategy and the insights she’s gained from her important work across sectors and capabilities.”
Lesser comes to FGH from National Geographic Partners (NGP), where she was vice president of corporate communications and brand strategy. NGP is a joint venture between Disney and the National Geographic Society that oversees all commercial businesses, including content, products and experiences.
Prior to her time at National Geographic, Lesser helped found and served as chief strategy officer of UsAgainstAlzheimer’s, where she remains a board member, and executive director of the Center for Copyright Information, which she joined following her time at The Glover Park Group (GPG). Before joining GPG, Lesser established and managed the policy and lobbying office for AOL-TimeWarner in Washington.
Lesser is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Boston University School of Law.
