Kathleen Shea Named New VP of Sales & Marketing for Chatham Bars Inn and The Inn at Perry Cabin

Two iconic resorts—Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod and the Inn at Perry Cabin on Maryland’s Eastern Shore—will see a new sales and market strategy this year, courtesy of luxury hospitality authority Kathleen Shea who has joined the resorts as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

In this newly-created role, Shea will be responsible for driving awareness, market share and sales for the resorts, which pair locally-inspired traditional East Coast elegance with authentic contemporary charm. She will also debut the Pete Dye-designed Links at Perry Cabin in Spring 2018, and later oversee the opening of the Lodge at Perry Cabin. Shea is based in New York City.

“On the heels of the bicentennial at the Inn, the opening of the Links at Perry Cabin creates a fresh experience for visitors,” added Michael Hoffmann, General Manager and Managing Director of the Inn at Perry Cabin and the Links at Perry Cabin. “We are eager for Kathleen to elevate the opening and the properties, reaching new audiences from deluxe golf groups to those looking to incorporate an afternoon on the links into a longer excursion at the shore.”

The hiring of Shea marks an exciting development for these renowned properties, as Shea has repeatedly proven to be a successful change agent and driver of growth.  Throughout her career, she has been recognized for turning start-ups into multi-million-dollar enterprises, and for building high performing sales and marketing teams with a strong customer focus and an ability to differentiate from other luxury competition.
