by | May 17, 2019

Talon announces its newest member of the team, Director of Client Management for Talon US, Kristy Day. Day joins Talon—the U.K.’s largest independent Out-of-Home (OOH) media specialist which recently began building a footprint in the US with the purchase of Grandesign—with a mission to wrangle new business opportunities as the company brings the most sophisticated OOH buying services globally.

Following her 15-year stint as Director at Lamar Advertising, Day is responsible for developing new business at Talon and assisting with all things OOH campaign and media buying. She is most excited to, “work with an extraordinary group of entrepreneurial leaders that have built wildly successful companies, changed marketplaces and recognizes that success is a direct result of investments in innovation and technology combined with an equal investment in people.”

“Talon’s past and future success in building a Smarter as Standard environment has yet again enabled us to recruit and retain top-tier talent like Kristy Day,” said Chief Revenue Officer, Aaron Gaeir. “With the addition of Day, our company’s resume and ability to service its clients with one-of-a-kind initiatives is stronger than ever.”

At Lamar Advertising, Day led digital innovation and national digital sales, transit and airport OOH teams that together generated more than $127 million for the company last year. Additionally, she headed all national training and development, mentoring over 95 people in 2018 alone. Day is a member of Outdoor Advertising Association of America, Inc.(OAAA) and serves on the OAAA Marketing Committee.

When Day isn’t building the best OOH team globally, or dominating all sales and strategy goals, she is enjoying life in New Orleans, Louisiana with her husband and two sons.
