Lippe Taylor announced the addition of Megan Svensen as Executive Vice President, Healthcare. Svensen joins at a time when the agency’s healthcare team is expanding to accommodate new clients in the biopharmaceutical and medical device sectors. She will work closely with Healthcare Practice Leader, Jennifer O’Neill, and the rest of the leadership team to continue evolving the agency’s Healthcare offerings.
Svensen was most recently Managing Director at W2O Group, having served since 2012 as senior client leader to a range of pharmaceutical and biotech clients. She has a proven track record of healthcare experience using strategy-based creativity to deliver measurable business results for clients large and small. Previously, Svensen also held a number of healthcare practice leadership positions at Marina Maher Communicationsand at Ogilvy PR.
“Healthcare has always been an important part of our client mix at Lippe Taylor,” said Maureen Lippe. “In the last several years we’ve really taken that to a new level, though, and Megan is the perfect leader to support our unique blend of science and consumer know-how.”
Lippe Taylor takes a unique approach to healthcare communications with an emphasis on translating science and data into clear, human-friendly messages and content. This storytelling through the human lens ensures that people – HCPs and consumers – can engage and take action around important health issues. It’s an approach unlike any other in the agency landscape, but the agency has demonstrated it can deliver results above and beyond what Healthcare PR traditionally does for biopharmaceutical companies.
“I’m thrilled to have joined Lippe Taylor,” said Svensen. “I’ve spent my career leveraging research and analytics to inspire creative ways of engaging across paid, earned, owned, and social media channels. The capabilities Lippe Taylor has developed in this regard are in best-in-class for the Healthcare sector, and I’m excited to put them to use for our clients.”
