Magrino announces representation of three new travel clients

by | Mar 22, 2021

Magrino, a full-service PR & social media lifestyle agency based in New York City, announced it is the agency of record for The Ray Hotel Delray Beach, The Gwen Chicago and Applewood Manor. The agency will work on creative programming and brand awareness development in the U.S. market through integrated public relations strategies and marketing campaigns.

  • The Ray Hotel Delray Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton brings a design-focused luxury twist to Delray Beach. Located in Downtown’s Pineapple Grove Arts District, within blocks of the famed Atlantic Avenue and a mile from the ocean, each of the 141 rooms, suites, and spaces provides a modern, South Florida escape for visitors and locals alike. With iconic architecture and elevated interior design, The Ray’s sustainable Tropical Modern aesthetic is punctuated with living walls, a rooftop floating forest, large-scale sculptures, and immersive art installations. Amenities—including a 20,000-square-foot rooftop pool deck with a bar and restaurant, two highly curated restaurants, signature lobby bar, wellness-focused experiences and a state-of-the-art fitness center—position The Ray as being its very own destination within this urban beach town. With its floating-glass-cube event space, lush plazas, green footprint, and more, The Ray is the embodiment of tropical luxury.
  • The Gwen, A Luxury Collection Hotel, is located in the landmark McGraw-Hill building on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. An art deco haven steeped in 21st-century amenities, the hotel is named for Gwen Lux, the renowned 20th-century female sculptor whose bas relief sculptures adorn the historic building’s façade. The Gwen’s 311 guest rooms  and 34 suites combine the glamour of 1930s Chicago with modern sophistication. Its dining venues include Kostali, a partnership with Chef Carrie Nahabedian that blends the coastal cuisines of Southern Europe and Northern Africa, and Upstairs at The Gwen, a rooftop retreat for all-day dining and hand-crafted cocktails. More than 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting space at The Gwen provide an inspired setting for corporate and social events
  • Applewood Manor is a highly-curated boutique B&B located in the Montford Historic District of Asheville, NC which will have its grand reopening in April 2021 under the ownership of Stephen and Robin Collins.  Applewood Manor is one of the longest continuously operating bed and breakfast style hotels in Asheville having transformed from a private residence in the late 1980’s.    With six luxuriously-decorated rooms including Duxiana beds, delicious cuisine made with locally-sourced ingredients and a professionally-led on-site cycling program, Applewood Manor is the perfect escape for travelers looking for an elegant Asheville B&B experience, as well as small executive groups searching for an inspired corporate retreat.
