by | May 16, 2023

Market-leading value coach operator, megabus, has appointed leading independent PR and Digital agency The PHA Group to deliver an influencer campaign.

megabus will be engaging travel influencers from all over the country on a paid and gifted basis in order to raise awareness of the brand and drive traffic to the website.

This latest win forms part of an expanded brief for The PHA Group, with the agency already managing a Paid Social and Paid Search strategy for the brand.

megabus launched in the UK in 2003 with the aim of making travel simple for customers, and now carries more than four million passengers a year, linking over 100 locations. Part of Scottish Citylink Coaches Limited, megabus offers great value and comfortable coach travel.

Tony Simmons, Operations Director at megabus, commented: “We have had a long relationship with The PHA Group who have been delivering on our paid search strategy for a number of years. It is great to be able to expand our work with them to include our current influencer campaign. We see The PHA Group as an extension to our team, and always enjoy working alongside them.”

Hayley Jones, Director of Social at The PHA Group, said: “We’re delighted to be expanding the brief to include influencer marketing, which we predict will be a very powerful tool for driving new sales for the brand, as more people consider staycations or day trips this summer and look to like minded influencers for their recommendations.”
