Monetate Named a “Strong Performer” In Experience Optimization Platform Industry Report

by | Jun 25, 2018

Monetate, a leader in personalization, announced it has been named a Strong Performer in the Forrester Research report, “The Forrester Wave™: Experience Optimization Platforms, Q2 2018.” The company was among eight top experience optimization platform (EOP) vendors selected to be evaluated in the Wave, and was recognized as a Stronger Performer. Specifically, Monetate received the highest score possible in six categories of evaluation criteria, including supporting services, partner ecosystem, and platform integration.

The report examined the current state of the EOP market at a time when online testing, behavioral targeting, and recommendations—which enterprises once approached as isolated projects and point solutions—have merged. To evaluate and recognize the vendors enabling this transition, the Wave assessed participants based on a comprehensive set of 24 evaluation criteria, which were grouped into three high-level buckets: current offering, strategy, and market presence. As part of the firm’s rigorous review process, Forrester also analyzed vendor surveys, conducted customer reference calls, participated in product demos, and examined expert interviews.

In its report, Forrester noted: “With its newly refurbished platform, Monetate seeks to [drive meaningful interactions with individuals] across all touchpoints, using everything shared between the customer-brand relationship.” It goes on to say that Monetate “scores well within all major categories, particularly for overall platform experience” and that “it’s no surprise then that most of its customers use each of the product’s key EOP capabilities.”

As a personalization pioneer specializing in ecommerce for consumer-facing brands, Monetate provides its 300 global clients with more than a decade of expertise in creating individualized, omnichannel customer experiences. The company is a leading EOP provider in the retail industry, having helped brands secure more than one billion purchases through the influence of its personalization platform. In a world of increasing customer expectations for personalized interaction, brands are looking to build maturity in how they engage with their customers, and Monetate—with years of experience in providing world-class support services – helps them throughout this journey.

“Forrester’s recognition of the Monetate platform and services underscores our company’s commitment to ensuring global retailers and leading ecommerce brands are creating the best possible experiences for their customers using personalization,” said David Brussin, Founder and Chairman. “In the 10 years since Monetate was founded, the retail industry has evolved sizably to address the expectations of consumers, and we’ve consistently innovated to meet the market’s growing needs. As an EOP ‘Strong Performer,’ we look forward to maintaining our competitive advantage by ensuring Monetate clients are capitalizing on the full capabilities of our platform and services team and, as a result, are creating more enjoyable, individualized experiences for consumers.”
