Mower Promotes Tess Flynn to Public Relations Director

by | Dec 23, 2019

Mower, one of the largest independent marketing, advertising and public relations agencies in the U.S., has promoted Tess Flynn to the public relations director in its Buffalo office.

Flynn, a Buffalo native and graduate of the Nichols School, joined Mower nearly four years ago after returning home from New York City, where she managed corporate affairs and communications for American Express Global Business Travel (GBT). Prior to her time at GBT, Flynn developed internal and external communications at PwC, and started her career at Edelman in Washington, D.C., serving brands such as Walmart, Darden and Toyota.

At Mower, Flynn has come to be known as a top-level public relations practitioner; filling vital roles on several accounts in the agency’s Buffalo, Charlotte, Rochester, and New York City offices, serving as a driving force on new business opportunities, and building strong and lasting client relationships.

Flynn, an American University alumnus, received her Master of Professional Studies in corporate communication and public relations from Georgetown University.
