NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 18, 2024) – Nashville-based full-service agency MP&F has proudly announced the addition of award-winning communications veteran Julia Bruck as vice president.
“We are thrilled to welcome Julia to our team. Her experience in state government and deep roots in media relations make her an invaluable addition to our agency,” said Knight Stivender, agency partner and former Tennessean journalist. “Julia brings two decades of experience in media, public relations, crisis communications and marketing. With MP&F poised for another year of significant growth, we are confident Julia will help us strengthen our expertise and client services.”
Bruck most recently served as communications director for Tennessee’s Secretary of State, a role she held for more than four years. She served as the Department of State’s spokesperson, leading communication strategy and media relations for the 2020 and 2022 elections and the opening of the state-of-the-art Tennessee State Library & Archives. She also established innovative voter information initiatives, including collaborating with Tennessee’s professional sports teams, Division 1 universities, Fortune 500 companies and community organizations across the state.
Bruck began her career as a broadcast journalist, working as a reporter and anchor in newsrooms across the country, including WSMV News 4 and WTVF NewsChannel 5 in Nashville. Bruck has earned multiple awards in her career, including three regional Emmys.
“I am honored to join MP&F and contribute to its legacy of delivering exceptional results for clients,” Bruck said. “The agency’s commitment to innovating and pushing its own boundaries was deeply attractive. I am excited to join such a talented team and use my media and government experience to best serve our clients.”
Bruck’s community involvement extends to such organizations as TEDxNashville and Sister Cities of Nashville. A graduate of Santa Clara University, Bruck has proudly called Nashville home for more than a decade.
MP&F is poised for another year of growth and achievements. In 2023, the agency saw its most profitable year on record, and for the year ahead, it remains committed to delivering results to its expansive client roster by offering a full suite of strategic and creative services.
Bruck begins in her role immediately.
