Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) agency Golin announced the appointment of Natasha O’Dell Archer to senior vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) for its 50+ global offices. Archer officially joined the agency on May 24 and is based in Golin’s Washington, D.C. market, reporting to Tiffiny Bolden, global head of human resources.
In this newly created role, Archer will manage the agency’s global DE&I communications, lead strategic programming and oversee employee training and development to ensure that Golin’s commitment to inclusion is successfully integrated into the culture and all business practices. She will build upon the existing strong DE&I momentum established by Golin’s DE&I counsels and streamline inclusion initiatives at regional and local levels. Archer will act as an executive counselor on key client activations, while working with Golin’s client-facing DE&I group, Team Pixel – which represents a network of specialists from various dimensions of DE&I expertise that ensure Golin’s teams serve the profoundly diverse global market.

Archer brings more than 20 years of experience working across several DE&I disciplines ranging from communications to public policy and social justice. She most recently led a successful DE&I consultancy where she developed an all-agency training for corporations around the country that focused on allyship and making space for change through small group, large group and interactive sessions. She also executed internal communications frameworks and launched external campaigns and events to affect real societal change for clients.

Archer also brings relevant experience as a past producer, getting her start at the New Maury Povich Show, the Montel Willams Show, and she helped create the longest running flagship show on BET, “106 & Park,” before transitioning into the legal arena to serve on the C-Suite level at multiple national social justice non-profits – most notably launching the Fight Crime: Invest in Kids Police Training Institute.
Archer is one of several recent new hires to Golin’s human resources and talent development teams. Emily Elyshevitz joined the agency last month as vice president, director of creative recruitment and diversity programs, and Krystal Alegbeleye joined at the end of 2020 as associate director of training and facilitation. Both are also in newly created roles and will work together with Archer to strengthen the agency’s recruitment and retention programming.
