PARIS – Nov. 26, 2025 – APCO is deepening its health advisory capabilities in Europe with the appointment of Olga Ackerman as senior director and health practice lead for France, based in Paris.

A seasoned public affairs and strategic communications professional, Ackerman brings more than 15 years of experience advising clients across the health care and life sciences sectors, as well as other highly regulated industries.
“Olga brings a combination of deep sector knowledge, policy insight and strategic communications expertise,” said Arnaud Pochebonne, managing director of APCO’s Paris office. “Her arrival strengthens our ability to support health care clients in France and across Europe as they navigate increasingly complex challenges.”
In her new role, Ackerman will lead APCO’s health practice in France, supporting a diverse portfolio of innovative health companies and clients across European markets. Her work focuses on strengthening stakeholder engagement and driving the evolution of health care systems to better support innovation and improve patient outcomes.

Prior to joining APCO, Ackerman served as managing director at FTI Consulting France, where she founded and led the firm’s health care practice. Under her leadership, the practice was recognized by Leaders League as the top-ranked public affairs consultancy in health care in France. Her clients included a major union representing the pharmaceutical sector, as well as leading French and international pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms and e-health innovators.
This appointment comes at a time of strong momentum for APCO’s health practice in France and Europe. The firm has seen significant growth in this sector over recent years, working with leading pharmaceutical companies and health innovators to deliver integrated solutions.
