PAN Communications Announces Key Promotions to the Healthcare Practice Leadership Team

by | Oct 21, 2022

PAN Communications, a leading integrated marketing and PR firm for B2B tech and healthcare brands, announced leadership promotions within its healthcare practice to continue expanding the agency’s growth in the key areas of health tech, digital therapeutics, clinical intelligence and patient engagement, accelerating the adoption of its broader service offerings, and reinforcing the value of unique career trajectories within the firm. With these moves, the agency is firmly at the forefront of a transformative moment in the healthcare industry, positioning current and future brand partners for greater success along their storytelling journeys.

Joining the Leadership Team

Since starting at PAN in 2009, Matthew Briggs has progressed steadily through the ranks of account management, honing a focus on healthcare technology and defining himself as a resident content and storytelling expert within the agency. As Senior Vice President, he will lead a dedicated team to tell meaningful stories for a growing portfolio of clients as they navigate challenges and opportunities presented by an evolving healthcare industry.

After joining the agency in 2018, Kari Hulley quickly established her expertise as a narrative expert for brands across the spectrum of the healthcare and tech industry – from trailblazers to disruptors, artificial intelligence to neurotechnology. In her new role as Senior Vice President, she and her dedicated team will build creative, high-impact solutions for client challenges, supporting PAN’s valuable brand partners as they grow their business.

Across over nine years with the agency, Kathryn McMahon Arrigg has guided healthcare brands through challenging moments and critical opportunities. As a director in the healthcare practice, Kathryn excelled as a mentor, investing daily in the career growth and professional development of her team. In her new role as Vice President, she will lead a dedicated group within the practice area to create integrated, data-driven communications strategies for our clients.

“As individuals, each of these leaders brings invaluable experience, knowledge and mentorship to their teams,” says Dan Martin, EVP Healthcare, PAN. “As a unit, they deliver complementary expertise and industry rapport that helps our clients navigate an increasingly complex healthcare and media landscape. Innovation in the healthcare technology space has never been more important, and I am excited to see our team, and especially our leaders, continue to grow in their roles to stay ahead of the market, mentor our employees and partner with brands that move the industry forward.”

Picking Up Speed

These leadership promotions reflect the agency’s dedication to this area of the business. Earlier this year, PAN revealed unprecedented momentum in the healthcare space, including 13 new clients and 44% revenue growth year over year, and Martin’s appointment as dedicated EVP of the agency’s practice.

Over the past six months that momentum has only gained speed with 63 dedicated employees, 22 clients and 13 senior leaders with an average tenure of four years at the agency. That expertise has not gone unnoticed in the industry. The PAN healthcare team has recently taken thought leadership opportunities to a new level with a wide variety of content, including:

“An agency-wide emphasis on purposeful work has encouraged continued movement as industry leading brands recognize what sets PAN apart,” says PAN President and CEO Phil Nardone. “The healthcare practice area and the growth of our team reflect PAN’s ethos as an agency: investment in people creates great leaders, strong leadership supports organic growth, and doing business with innovative brands provides our team with opportunities to create and tell meaningful stories.”
