PR and Branding Pros Launch Hands-On Marketing Conference in Nashville

by | Sep 26, 2018

Two agency owners are teaming up to bring a new kind of conference to Nashville: The Music City Marketing Conference. Lauren Reed of Reed Public Relations, a full-service PR and marketing firm, and Amy Dennis of Nice Branding, a branding and marketing agency, will host inaugural conference geared toward marketing professionals this November.

“Our goal is to engage and revitalize participants by having them do more than passively listen to a panel of speakers and take notes,” Reed said. “This is a working conference where each session culminates in a template or a deliverable that will actually be used in their marketing efforts.”

Speakers will include marketing experts from CMT, Tractor Supply Company and Paramore Digital, an Osborn Barr Company. Sessions will center on topics including content planning, brand voice development, cause marketing and more. Attendees will leave with a well-rounded communications plan to guide their 2019 marketing efforts.

“With so many great brands moving to town, Nashville has become a hub for forward-thinking marketers over the last few years and we’re hoping our status as a hot city will be a big draw for attendees,” Dennis said. “This conference is different than your typical lecture style setting. We definitely want to educate at this conference, but we also want attendees to leave with tangible items that will provide support to the demands of their marketing director position, such as a 2019 marketing plan and a social content calendar.”

The working conference will take place over the course of two full days: Thursday, November 8 – Friday, November 9 at the Nashville City Club.

The cost to attend is $2,975. Scholarships will be given away to two non-profit organizations that qualify. Get more information and/or register here.
