Red Fan Communications, a full-service public relations firm for dynamic B2B tech and consumer brands, announced that industry veteran Mimi A. Fernandez has joined the company as director of client success.
Her experience spans more than two decades in public relations, marketing and related fields. She specializes in business development, strategic planning, creative direction and client management. At Red Fan, she is responsible for growing the agency’s client portfolio, advising president and founder Kathleen Lucente, and guaranteeing client satisfaction and success at every layer of the firm.

In her most recent role as director of account management at Lucid, LLC, a data technology company, Fernandez was responsible for business development with large brands and agencies. Unilever, Edelman Intelligence, Buzzfeed, Indeed and The Walt Disney Company were among her top clients. She has also held executive positions in New York City working on Fortune 50 clients at Edelman PR, malansky + partners, Ruder Finn and the American Lung Association.
She and Lucente have known each other for more than 20 years and worked together in previous agency-client partnerships in New York City.
