Reed Public Relations Promotes Three, Hires Three

by | Jul 6, 2022

REED Public Relations—a full-service public relations and marketing agency—has promoted three members of its leadership team and added three members to its account team. Macey Cleary Binner and Katherine Green have been promoted to vice president and Tayhlor Blackwell has been promoted to director. Jessica Holman and Hannah Sharp join as account managers, while former intern Louise Paterson joins as an account coordinator.

Binner, Green and Blackwell will continue to support REED’s diverse client base while leading the growing REED team in business development, hiring and training and professional development, respectively. Holman, Sharp and Paterson will support the team and client base by coordinating media and influencer relations, marketing, social media and strategic communications campaigns.

“Jessica, Hannah and Louise are all wonderful additions to REED, and Macey, Katherine and Tayhlor have been outstanding team members throughout their time here,” said Lauren Reed, president and founder of REED Public Relations. “As we approach REED’s 10th anniversary and the number of clients we serve continues to grow, all six have produced excellent work and provided impeccable service to our clients. We’re excited to see everything these women continue to accomplish at REED.”

Binner, who joined REED as an intern in 2016, will continue to use her unabated work ethic and interpersonal communication skills to lead her clients in the role as vice president. In addition, Binner will contribute her top-tier research and organization skills to leading business development.

Green, who joined REED at the beginning of 2021, has demonstrated a passion for PR and immense leadership skills since becoming part of the team. In her new role as vice president, she will continue to lead accounts while using her impeccable eye for detail as head of the hiring and training process.

Blackwell has been a member of the REED team since her internship began in 2018. In her new role as director, Blackwell will continue leading her clients while also leading professional development. Her organizational prowess and exceptional writing skills will continue to serve her clients and coworkers.

Originally from California, Holman earned her degree from Texas Christian University. After college, she honed her stellar media pitching and event management skills at a communications agency in Fort Worth.

Sharp, an Oregon native and graduate from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, utilizes excellent event planning and multitasking skills while helping non-profits produce and publicize first-class fundraising events.

Paterson calls New York home and recently graduated from the University of South Carolina. Joining the REED team as an intern in January, Paterson’s hard work and determination have made her a key team member on multiple successful projects and accounts.

REED Public Relations serves clients spanning every industry, from travel & tourism and commercial real estate to medical technology. REED’s account team helps clients achieve their objectives through strategic communication campaigns and curated messaging. REED’s ultimate goal is to help brands tell their unique stories in compelling and original ways.
