Diffusion, an international integrated communications agency, has been appointed by Canary, the NYC-based smart home security pioneer, as its agency of record. Diffusion has supported Canary across a number of standalone projects and will continue to service the company on media relations, brand awareness, event activations and support at industry trade conferences.
Diffusion will continue promoting Canary’s continuously evolving and innovative approach to smart home security while furthering its mission that security should be accessible to all. As Canary continues to grow, so do the use cases for its products, with Diffusion set to support the company’s efforts highlighting the many benefits and applications for its products and AI-led services.
Diffusion has supported recent launches for Canary, bringing press attention to the company’s multitude of announcements: its recently unveiled third-party integrations between its product portfolio and both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa; promoting Canary’s line-up of advanced detection AI features, dubbed Canary Vision, and its expansion using this underlying AI technology for new business applications; and supporting its presence at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018 to launch its new $99 security camera, Canary View.
Bob Stohrer, Chief Marketing Officer at Canary, commented: “Canary is in a space that’s evolving rapidly, and Diffusion has proven that they can move with us as we continue to bring new ideas and innovation to market. We have been very impressed with Diffusion’s agility, passion for creativity, and media relations experience and expertise.”
Kate Ryan, Managing Director at Diffusion, commented: “Canary operates in a competitive space that they essentially created with their arrival in 2013. Going toe-to-toe with major technology giants, as well as traditional security companies, Canary has experienced tremendous growth and has a unique story to tell. Our campaigns will build on their keen commitment to making security simple, seamless and attainable as well as set the stage for their future.”
