Snooze Calls on Bullfrog + Baum to Support Nationwide Expansion and Pancake Appreciation

by | Feb 8, 2019

Bullfrog + Baum, the award-winning public relations and hospitality marketing agency, is now officially the agency of record for Snooze, an A.M. Eatery. Bullfrog + Baum will bring its hospitality roots, 18 years of experience and deep-seated love for eggs and pancakes to partner with Snooze on its brand expansion and celebration for breakfast culture.

Calling on Bullfrog + Baum’s strong media relations, the team will also drive exposure for the brand as part of its nationwide expansion in 2019, strengthen Snooze’s positioning as the leaders in the world of breakfast and highlight the positive impact they continue to make in the cities they live in. Bullfrog + Baum will also handle national and local media relationships for the concept.

Here’s the news on Snooze:

Snooze Makes Moves. Founded in Denver, Colorado in 2006 by breakfast-loving brothers Jon and Adam Schlegel, Snooze revitalized bland breakfast culture, with the duo bringing creativity and innovation to breakfast, along with an energetic and eclectic atmosphere and friendly neighbor-like service. Now they’re in over 30 locations throughout the U.S., including Arizona, California, Colorado and Texas—with plans to open at least 10 more in 2019 alone. With this country-wide expansion, Snooze uses business as a platform to do good in every city they live in.

The Snooze Twist. The brand appeals to all tastes with an extensive menu of breakfast and brunch classics that are upgraded with playful twists, such as the Pineapple Upside Down PancakesBreakfast Pot Pie, and Snooze Spuds Deluxe. Guests can also customize breakfast to their heart’s content, mixing and matching different types of pancakes or eggs Benedict with the Pancake Flight or the Benny Duo, respectively. Breakfast cocktails go beyond your usual Bloody Mary and Mimosa, with various coffee-based cocktails, morning margaritas, and more.

No Snoozing When it Comes to the Environment. Snooze prides itself on being an industry leader in championing sustainable environmental practices and responsibly sourced ingredients. Today, over 95 percent of their sourced ingredients are “Snooze Approved,” having passed a rigorous set of standards which include: ethical farming practices, as well as vetting the sustainable standards of the partner companies. Snooze also diverts 90% of waste from landfills through composting and recycling, where facilities exist. In addition to creating a program called “12 Months of Green,” which teaches the team and restaurant guests throughout the year about the impact that small steps like recycling and composting can make, Snooze employees also organize field trips to school gardens, recycling plants, food providers and more as part ongoing effort to develop future community leaders.

One Million Dollars will go back to Communities in 2019. Snooze doesn’t just open a restaurant—it becomes a part of the community, and places priority on giving back. In 2018, the group donated over $800,000 to local and national charities, and is set to give back over $1 million in 2019 alone. One percent of all sales goes to local charities through the donation of in-kind goods and services. Annual company initiatives include planting trees for each Snooze team member on Earth Day (resulting in over 1,500 trees planted in 2018 on the Guatemalan farm where Snooze sources its coffee beans), and donating 100 percent of all pancake sales on National Pancake Day to help develop and nurture local gardens in the community.
