Soapbox London are delighted to announce a multi-year extension to their deal with global boxing promotional company Matchroom Boxing.
Following a landmark year of growth for the PR agency, the new agreement will see Soapbox continue to work with their longest-standing client during an exciting new era for Matchroom Boxing.

Founded by Andy Bell and Rowan Wilkinson in 2015, Soapbox have provided creative and proactive PR support to Matchroom Boxing’s world-class stable of boxers since 2018.
The communications specialists are tasked with exposing Eddie Hearn’s roster of British stars to new audiences and working around the boxing powerhouse’s stellar line-up of shows coming up live worldwide on DAZN.
As part of the new deal, Matchroom’s long-standing Head of Media Daniel Barnard has joined the comms team at Soapbox as a Senior Account Manager on a one-year secondment, providing experienced support across a broad range of clients.
Soapbox’s expansive partnership portfolio includes Formula E, Red Bull, the Professional Darts Corporation, the World Nineball Tour, Anthony Joshua, Luke Littler, and Jamie Chadwick.
Andy Bell, Managing Partner at Soapbox, said: “We are thrilled to extend our relationship with Matchroom Boxing. Barry, Eddie and Frank have been fantastic supporters of Soapbox, and we are very grateful to be working with the biggest and best promotional company in not just the UK, but globally. We look forward to pushing the boundaries even further and continuing to produce best-in-class service.”
Ross Garritty, Chief Marketing Officer at Matchroom Boxing, said: “The sport and entertainment landscape is busier than ever – so it’s important our approach to promoting events and talent is proactive and creative. Our strategy with Soapbox is very much “fighter first”, in so much as, their success outside the ring is part of a bigger picture for Matchroom Boxing as the rights holder. Soapbox ultimately offer us a close-knit solution which feels like an extension of the Matchroom team rather than an external agency.”
