30th October 2025 – Formula E has reappointed sport communications specialists Soapbox as its retained UK PR agency following a record-breaking year for the all-electric Championship.

Having first partnered with Soapbox last year, the announcement comes ahead of Season 12 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, which starts in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on 6 December.

As the world’s first all-electric FIA World Championship and the only sport with a certified net zero pathway, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship brings dramatic racing to the heart of some of the world’s most iconic cities, providing an elite motorsport platform for the world’s leading automotive manufacturers to accelerate electric vehicle innovation.

Soapbox will again work closely with Formula E and its senior leadership team to run a proactive cross-cultural PR campaign to continue to build and drive awareness in the UK throughout Season 12, and to drive interest ahead of the London E-Prix, which takes place at Excel London next August.

The renewal announcement comes off the back of a record-breaking season for Formula E, which set new highs for cumulative TV audience, global fanbase and digital engagement records. 

Season 12 promises to be even more exciting, with the return of the dedicated Women’s Test, offering twice the track time for professional women drivers, with participation from all 10 Formula E teams.

Elsewhere, Season 12 will also mark the final run for the current Formula E car before the GEN 4 debuts at the end of 2026. The driver line up will also see F1 reserve talent Felipe Drugovich joining Andretti and motorsport giant Citroën enter the series. Calendar highlights include new races in Madrid and Miami’s International Autodrome, plus returning venues Berlin, Tokyo, and Shanghai, each hosting double-header race weekends. Monaco continues its role as the jewel in the crown of motorsport, hosting back-to-back races over a single weekend on the iconic street circuit.

The renewal of Formula E continues to strengthen Soapbox ’s roster of rights holders and brand clients, which includes Matchroom Boxing, Professional Darts Corporation, Meta, The agency’s talent roster includes Anthony Joshua, Luke Littler, Jamie Chadwick, Billy Monger, Eddie Hearn and many more.
