Steve Briggs Joins Brownstein as Director of Account Management

by | Dec 13, 2022

Brownstein announced the addition of industry veteran Steve Briggs as Director of Account Management. Briggs brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing and advertising to this role, where he will partner with Brownstein’s national and regional clients in building unstoppable brands.

“Steve is joining our team after an uncompromising national search for the right talent to lead our agency in delivering VIP-level management and strategic thinking to our clients,” said Erin Allsman, Managing Director of Brownstein. “He has the experience we sought, demonstrated by his distinguished work for heritage brands, but also the character we hoped to find in a world-class communicator.”

Briggs’s agency experience has included roles as EVP, Group Account Director at Hill Holiday, as well as marketing director at Allen & Gerritsen. Throughout his tenured career, he has partnered with brands such as BMW, TJX and Ocean Spray and launched national campaigns such as Dunkin’s “America Runs On Dunkin’.” As the agency heads into 2023, he is joining at a pivotal time to further elevate the Account Management team in client satisfaction and portfolio growth.

“It’s the perfect agency environment. Brownstein possesses the resources and talent to deliver powerful thinking and ideas for brands while maintaining the agility of a smaller agency,” said Briggs. “The incredible legacy of this agency, as well as the tight-woven nature of the team, is a rare combination in this industry, and I look forward to contributing to this talented group.”

As Brownstein continues to grow its portfolio of national brands, the agency is expanding its bench of leaders to further elevate its superior client service and attract top talent across the industry. Most recently, Steve Metcalfe joined the Account Management team, bringing more than 10 years of experience to his role as Senior Account Director. He came to Brownstein with deep advertising experience, partnering with national brands such as Coca-Cola and Bank of America at agencies like Wieden + Kennedy and McCann.  Brownstein also welcomed Rachel Monastra PHR SHRM-CP as Director of Talent and Culture. With more than 15 years of HR expertise, she will drive recruitment and talent development initiatives to further cultivate an unstoppable agency team.
