Strategic Heights Media has been named the public relations agency of record for Nia Fairweather, award-winning actress (The Roe Effect, Paralysis) and writer/producer (OORDEEL, Four Seasons) whose work has been featured at the Cannes Film Festival, American Black Film Festival, UrbanWorld Film Festival, Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival and BlackStar Film Fest; on HBO, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Cinemax, CBS, AspireTV, BET, Centric and Creative Control, to name a few. Strategic Heights Media will manage overall publicity efforts and media strategy for Ms. Fairweather.
Nia employs awareness, empathy and vision to write and perform impactful stories that take audiences on poignant journeys through critical social issues; from prostitution in My Thai, childhood abandonment in Mommie Dearest and homelessness in Sparrow. Her versatility as an actress is also exemplified in her leading role in the new holiday film A New York Christmas Wedding, currently streaming on Netflix. As her Christmas Eve wedding draws near, Jennifer Ortiz (Nia Fairweather) is visited by Azrael, an angel of death, and shown what could have been if she hadn’t denied her true feelings for her childhood best friend. Nia is now developing New Amsterdam, the feature film adaptation of her viral short film OORDEEL, the TV series expansion of Four Seasons and sharing discoveries along the way in Fire Spun, an audio short story series.
